Hoping to do a slideshow in a few days of our shots from our mini-vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains.

They were re-roofing the church, so we were not able to go inside this trip.

A little corner of the hutch in our dining area. Nothing especially photo worthy, but I’m playing around with the S3 to try to learn how to use it again. Of course, I primarily use one of the dSLR’s, but there are times you need something smaller to carry around.

I processed this shot in Lightroom, cropping it and adding a favorite preset called Old School Toning.

Comment section still not working as of this posting. Will eventually get around to trying to figure out what’s wrong with the code, but my brain isn’t there, nor is my schedule. I like the overall concept of this template, but it has been a headache to adapt to my needs, especially given that there are parts of it written in Spanish!

I’ve lost my ‘purse’ camera and pulled out an old Canon Power shot S3 that I never did like using. I might  well use it rather than keep it in a closet, and it doesn’t make sense to buy another purse camera. I never could get the focus down on this camera, so I gave up and threw it up on a shelf.
